The First Day of SR&DT Batch 2 For Poteran Island
The first day for the team of SR & DT Batch 2 Poteran Island has been begun on Thursday, February 26th, 2015. Started from Surabaya at 13:30 pm by using two private cars and the team arrived at the University Wiraraja (UNIJA) at 17:45 pm. Wiraraja University is located in Sumenep-Madura Island and this university has 7 faculties and 10 departments, Wiraraja University also has more than 4000 students. After the team of SR & DT Batch 2 arrived at Wiraraja University, the team has been warmly welcomed by some of the students, staff and lectures from Wiraraja university. After the meeting and introduction time between these two educational institutions, team of SR&DT Batch 2 and lectures from University Wiraraja continued for dinner and choosed a location in the Central of Sumenep as a dining area.
After dinner, the team has been invited to continue for radio session at Wiraraja University Sumenep. This radio is belong to Wiraraja university and the channel on 107.2 MHz, and this radio is managed independently by students of Wiraraja university and the room size is about 2.5 mx 3.5 m. With Virly as one of radio announcer, team of SR & DT Batch 2 interviewed warmly about their purpose for coming to the Poteran island that is planned until Sunday. As expressed by Sabrina as the leader of the team Poteran Island, the purpose for coming to the Poteran island is to analyze about Moringa and seaweed to improve the economic developement of Poteran Island. During the on-air session that night, there were some questions raised by the loyal listeners of Unija FM, and the team of SR & DT Batch 2 answered the question that has been raised to explain the general aim to the public that the concern for the welfare of the community is one of the tasks for students as an agent of change. After on-air session is completed, the team SR & DT Batch 2 went to sleep due to the next day activities.
