Maratua Team

Nadia Sanggra Puspita - Chemical Engineering 2009 (Maratua team leader)

As a Project leader of SR&DT Maratua team, I learn to manage people from diversity education background which is very challenging. I learn to shape a bunch of ideas into one integrated tourism scenario since each of us has brought a special issue for Maratua sustainable plan. SIDI really helps me to improve my analytical thinking on how to think like a researcher and investor in the same time, which I have to think both deeply in research and futuristic way. This program gives me opportunity to get mentorship with expert in its field, working professionally with global mindset and standard. I also get heartfully friendship through SIDI, and we have decided to make a new platform for realizing our ideas. SIDI isn’t just like a program, it’s like home.

SR&DT is a marvelous program specifically designed to create a super-team. Here, you'll have an amazing experience working with professional people (Wismar and ITS Mentor), Local government, NGO's and the People itself. You'll never be the same once you completed this program wholeheartedly! It's like the old saying, "There's no such thing as a superman, there can only be a superteam..."

Dendy Satrio - Energy Generation System Engineering, PENS 2011

Actually, this program integrated some discipline study and made us have a good planning, and integrated development program can be implement. I have been joined in Poteran Island program. I got experience about Poteran condition, abundant natural resource, especially Moringa oleifera. Moreover, I learned how to analysis about the problem in Island, how to improve it, and the significant solution for this program.
